\u2014 Galatians 1:8 (KJV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

While visions, dreams, and revelations can be powerful, the Word of God holds supreme authority over them all. The supernatural realm is vast and not limited to the operations of the Holy Spirit alone; it also includes evil and deceptive forces. For this reason, every vision or revelation must be tested by the Word of God. If it contradicts Scripture, we must reject it immediately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Apostle Paul warned the Galatian church that even if an angel from heaven were to preach a message different from the gospel already delivered, that angel should be rejected. This shows that no spiritual experience, no matter how impressive or divine it seems, should ever take precedence over the written Word of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many have been misled by supposed angelic visitations or deceptive visions that appeared holy but were not. The Bible warns that Satan himself can disguise as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). Therefore, we do not judge spiritual experiences by how glorious they appear but by how closely they align with the truth of Scripture.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is why it is vital for every believer to be grounded in the Word of God. Without a strong foundation in Scripture, one becomes vulnerable to deception.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Apostle Peter echoed this truth when he described the transfiguration of Christ, where he personally heard the voice of God affirming Jesus as His beloved Son. Yet, even after such a powerful encounter, Peter emphasized that there is a “more sure word of prophecy”\u2014the Holy Scriptures. He declared that the written Word carries even greater authority than his extraordinary spiritual experience (2 Peter 1:16\u201321).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

God\u2019s Word is the highest standard of truth. Every revelation, prophecy, or vision must be tested by it. Stay rooted in the Word, and you will not be deceived.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Father, thank you for giving me your Word as the ultimate standard of truth. Help me to stay grounded in Scripture so that I will never be deceived by false visions or teachings.
