“Your word is a lamp to my feet Many times, we underestimate the wisdom of God in how He cares for His children. The truth is that God knew that many teachings would arise in the area of leading and direction; therefore, He gave us the written Word to help guide us in our lives. A lot of times, we underestimate how much we can be led when we simply walk in the light of the Word. I always teach that the primary way we are led as believers is through the Word. This is still very correct. When we align our lives according to the Word of God, we are following the leading of God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n This leading is the most reliable leading for our lives. As much as the Lord leads us by impressions in our spirit, visions, dreams, etc., the most reliable way we are led is by the Word. All other types of leading must be subjected to the Word. If they contradict the Word, then we are being led by a strange spirit, and we must discard it. God does not want you confused about the issue of leading. If you are living in obedience to God\u2019s Word, then you are being led by the Spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A lot of the confusion that believers have today about leading will be solved if we see the Word as the primary and most important source of guidance. Also, it is important to note that tribulations and trials are not proof that you were wrong about the leading of God. This is important to point out because, for some people, their challenge with the issue of leading has to do with the fact that they judge something as leading by the presence or absence of trials.
