{"id":815,"date":"2025-03-22T06:13:10","date_gmt":"2025-03-22T06:13:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newcreationcity.org\/?p=815"},"modified":"2025-03-22T06:18:59","modified_gmt":"2025-03-22T06:18:59","slug":"strong-in-faith","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newcreationcity.org\/?p=815","title":{"rendered":"Strong in Faith"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Discipleship Devotional, March 22nd, 2025<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised. This is why &#8216;it was credited to him as righteousness.'&#8221;<\/em><br>\u2014 <strong>Romans 4:20-22 (NIV)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Bible speaks about Abraham, that he did not stagger at the promises of God but was strong in faith, giving glory to God. This is an excellent example for us to follow in the walk of faith. As we journey through this life, there will be circumstances that demand us to look away from ourselves and look up to God for help. There are no two ways about it. Challenges are a certainty in this world. However, more certain is our victory in Christ Jesus. We have been called to be strong in faith regardless of circumstances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In whatever you are believing God for, I have come to encourage you this morning not to give up. I urge you to stay strong in faith. In due season, you shall see the hand of God. I believe strongly that our God is never late. He is always on time. Are you believing for healing, a job, money, or any other miracle? Don\u2019t allow the lies of Satan to weaken your faith. Stay strong in the Lord.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He has promised to supply your needs and take care of you. Do not stagger at that promise. Here is what Jesus said:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>&#8220;Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.
