{"id":824,"date":"2025-03-27T06:59:02","date_gmt":"2025-03-27T06:59:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newcreationcity.org\/?p=824"},"modified":"2025-03-28T06:16:44","modified_gmt":"2025-03-28T06:16:44","slug":"faith-for-the-impossible-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newcreationcity.org\/?p=824","title":{"rendered":"Faith for the Impossible"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Discipleship Devotional, March 27th, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.<\/em> \u2013 Hebrews 13:8 (NIV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There will never come a time when Christianity will become a powerless faith. The bible makes us understand that Jesus is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Therefore, whatever He did with the early church, He continues to do today. He is the same God of the Old Testament who worked mighty signs and wonders with Moses, Joshua, Gideon, Elisha, David, Daniel, etc. He is the God who worked miracles with the apostles. He has never been a Cessationist and He will never be.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is always important to spell this out in a time when the false doctrine of Cessationism thrives. Why is it important? Because we cannot talk about faith in the impossible if we believe that God does not work miracles today. If we want to see God\u2019s power for the impossible, it is very important to first of all, acknowledge that it is available in our day. If you are reading this, say this after me: \u201cGod\u2019s power is available in our day. He has given me authority to use His name.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is very true. Jesus said that even faith as small as a grain of mustard seed can produce the impossible:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He replied, &#8216;Because you have so little faith. Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, &#8220;Move from here to there, &#8221; and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. &#8211; Matthew 17:20 (NIV)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus is not like many ministers today who make it sound like only them can work miracles. Jesus told his disciples that nothing will be impossible for them if they have faith. This is the will of God. We must therefore always dare for the supernatural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Prayer<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Thank you Lord for making your power available to us.
