Trusting the Plan of God

For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.
Jeremiah 29:11–13 (NIV)

As a believer, you must decide to entrust your life to the plan of God in all situations. At times we think our plan for ourselves is the best, but I can assure you that God’s plan for you is much better. God knows the end from the beginning, and He has seen all the twists and turns. Most importantly, He loves us more than we can ever love ourselves. He has our best interest at heart and knows what’s good for us better than we know. Therefore, it is only wisdom to trust His plan over ours.

Even when He leads you through the valley of the shadow of death and it seems like everything is upside down, His will and plan are still to give you a hope and a future. At times, we think God does not care about how we turn out here on earth. This again is the deception of the devil. God knows what we face in this world, and He is committed to providing, protecting, and leading us all the way in our journey on earth. So when He gives an instruction, it is best that you follow that instruction.

The Psalmist admonishes that we trust in the Lord with all our hearts, not leaning on our understanding. This is one of the most important counsels you can give a person. When we lean on our own understanding in neglect of the counsel of the Lord, we will fall easily to the plagues of this world.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.
2 Corinthians 13:14 (NIV)

Prayer
Thank you, Heavenly Father, for the privilege of having access to commune and fellowship with you.
