As believers, we have been called to represent Christ to the world. Scripture tells us that we are “ambassadors for Christ,” meaning our words, actions, and lifestyle are meant to point people to Him.
Our anchor text highlights a sobering reality: there are times when God’s name is blasphemed among unbelievers because of the conduct of those who claim to follow Him. This is a very serious matter. Instead of drawing people closer to God, some believers push them further away through hypocrisy, compromise, or ungodly behavior.
Sadly, there are people who remain hardened in their sins because of what they have seen from professing Christians. When a minister is involved in moral scandals or a believer participates in workplace corruption, unbelievers find a reason to dismiss the message of Christ altogether.
This is why Jesus calls us to be the light of the world:
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”

Decide today that you will represent Christ well, in your words, your conduct, and your integrity. Refuse to conform to the darkness around you. No matter how evil the world becomes, you are called to shine. Let your life be a testimony that draws others to glorify God, not blaspheme His name.
Prayer:
Lord, help me to live as a true ambassador for Christ. Let my life reflect Your holiness and goodness so that others may see You in me and glorify Your name.
